José Rodrigo Moreno Rodríguez
He was born in León, Guanajuato. He earned his degree in Law from Iberoamericana University (Universidad Iberoamericana) in Mexico City, and then obtained a Masters and Doctorate in Law, with honors, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). He later studied Public Administration at the University of Manchester, England, and received his degree with honors. He also studied to become a Notary Public at the University of Guanajuato, where he graduated first in his class.
He began his law career in 1970 in the notary public's office of his father, Rodrigo Moreno Zermeño. He has practiced in the areas of Corporate and Notarial Law, working with both private companies and government offices and agencies. Within the private sector he has advised important national and international businesses.
In the public sector he has been a legal adviser in the Office of the President of the Republic; Delegate for Azcapotzalco; Secretary of Government of the Government of Mexico City, and Director of the Federal Educational System for the State of Guanajuato.
He is fluent in Spanish, English and French
He has also been a professor of law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Iberoamericana University. He was the director of the Department of Social and Juridical Sciences of the Iberoamericana University, León campus. He is a member of the National Association of Mexican Notaries and of the National Institute of Public Administration.
He is the holder of Notary Public office N° 108 and Senior Partner of the Firm of Attorneys and Corporate Consultants, MORENO RODRÍGUEZ and ASSOC., S.C.
Rodrigo Moreno regularly participates in professional legal continuing education, including important courses and conferences that expand his knowledge and skills. He has the certificate of professional update from the National Association of Mexican Notaries. He is a Private Mediator Certified by the Judicial Branch of the Government of Guanajuato. |
